Scope of Work

STUDIO 49 has it's roots firmly planted within the publishing of limited editions. With our own beginnings starting in the music business (back in the late 80's), we have an understanding and love of the retro, the original and classic, the culture surrounding genres of music. Our work has included the redesign and illustration of music producer to the Beatles, Mr George Martin's book called 'Summer of Love'. Other titles include 'Elvis & The Birth of Rock', two great example soft completely contrasting genres of music form two very different periods in music history. Our work includes every aspect of the digital design process, from originating illustrations, undertaking photoshop compositing and colour grading of imagery, typography and logotype design and the design of packaging.

Genesis Publications despatches books to collectors in over 50 countries. Around 100 signed limited editions have been created with renowned authors, as varied as they are many.
